I am a faculty member at STLCC-Forest Park teaching developmental writing. I am also a PhD student nearing the end of my studies in rhetoric and composition at Saint Louis University.

I am very interested in engaging my students in the humanities through technology. I do so currently by using a variety of online resources to supplement textbooks, using Blackboard as a course organization tool, and having students do assignments involving the use of cameras, computers, and videos.

I also blog professionally and personally and find the opportunities to connect with other people across space one of the most important tools that technology can bring the humanities.

My research interests involve the role of agonistic rhetoric, feminism, pop culture, and rhetorical identity construction.
